Terms & Conditions
Rules for using KaamPoint in Pakistan. Last updated: September 2026.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of KaamPoint ("Platform", "we", "us"), operated as an online marketplace connecting clients with service providers in Pakistan. By registering or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract under the Contract Act, 1872 (Pakistan).
- You must provide accurate registration information including a valid Pakistani mobile number and email address.
- Providers must complete identity verification (CNIC) where required and comply with applicable local licensing laws for regulated trades.
2. Platform role
KaamPoint is a technology marketplace, not the employer of providers and not a party to the service contract between client and provider. We facilitate discovery, communication, booking, and payment recording. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services performed off-platform.
3. Accounts & security
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password and all activity under your account.
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts to manipulate reviews, bids, or ratings.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or community standards.
4. Client obligations
- Post accurate job descriptions, budgets in Pakistani Rupees (PKR), and reasonable requirements.
- Communicate respectfully and pay agreed amounts through Platform-approved methods.
- Do not solicit providers to complete work entirely off-platform to avoid fees or protections.
5. Provider obligations
- Maintain a truthful profile, portfolio, pricing, and availability.
- Hold any licences, permits, or registrations required by provincial or federal law for your trade.
- Deliver services professionally and respond to awarded jobs in good faith.
- Subscription plans and bid limits are enforced as displayed at purchase time.
6. Payments, fees & taxes
- Prices are shown in PKR unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for applicable taxes including where relevant under the Sales Tax Act, 1990 and Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
- Platform fees, subscription charges, and payment processing rules are disclosed before checkout.
- Manual payment proofs (e.g. bank transfer) may be reviewed before activation — false receipts are grounds for immediate termination.
7. Reviews & content
Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. We may remove abusive, defamatory, or misleading content under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), 2016 and our moderation policies.
8. Prohibited conduct
- Fraud, harassment, hate speech, spam, or impersonation.
- Uploading malware, scraping data, or attempting unauthorised access.
- Using the Platform for unlawful services or activities prohibited in Pakistan.
9. Disputes between users
Clients and providers should first attempt resolution via Platform chat and the built-in dispute workflow. KaamPoint may review evidence and suggest outcomes but is not obliged to act as arbitrator. Unresolved disputes may be referred to competent courts in Pakistan.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Pakistani law, KaamPoint is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from user interactions, service performance, or third-party failures. Our total liability for a claim shall not exceed the fees paid to us by you in the preceding three (3) months.
11. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Courts at our registered place of business (or your province of residence where consumer protection law requires) shall have jurisdiction.
12. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions: Contact us.
